Privacy policy
Your baby's details stay on your phone. We collect a small amount of anonymous usage data to make the app better. We never sell your data.
This policy explains what the Wakes & Windows iPhone app ("the app") collects and why. The app is made by Treetop Labs LLC ("we", "us").
What stays on your phone
Everything you enter about your baby stays on your device: name, birthdate, wake times, naps, feeds, notes and the plans the app makes. We don't have accounts or a server that stores this information, and we can't see it. If you delete the app, this information is deleted with it.
What we collect
To understand how the app is used and where it can improve, the app sends anonymous usage events, such as:
- that the app was opened, onboarding was completed, or the day's plan was viewed
- that a nap was logged (not its time or length)
- a broad age range, such as "4–6 months"
- basic technical details: app version, iOS version, device model
These events never include your baby's name, birthdate, or schedule. They aren't linked to your name, email or Apple ID, and we don't store your IP address with them.
If you choose to share diagnostics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may also share crash reports with us.
Who processes it
We use PostHog to receive and analyze usage events. PostHog processes this data on our behalf, in the United States, and may not use it for its own purposes.
What we don't do
- We never sell your data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites.
- We don't show ads.
If you email us
If you contact support, we receive your email address and whatever you include, and use it only to reply and improve the app.
Children
The app is for parents and caregivers, not for children to use. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can delete all data stored by the app at any time by deleting the app. Because usage events are anonymous, we can't connect them to you, but you can email us with any question or request and we'll help where we can.
Changes
If we change what the app collects, we'll update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
